Championship Fund
Six clubs qualify. One hundred and twenty-five athletes have to get to Kampala, sleep somewhere for five nights, and eat for six days. Here is exactly what that costs.
The fund is not yet accepting payments. The budget below is published now so anyone considering a sponsorship can see exactly what it pays for. Sponsorship enquiries are open today.
The full cost of staging the 2026 Uganda National Baseball League Championship — 125 athletes, five nights, six days of meals, trophies, water and local media, October 29 to November 1 at Uganda–Japan Friendship Stadium, Gayaza.
Six clubs qualify. The top four from the Central League and the top two from the Northern tournaments. They have spent a season earning the right to be there, and getting them there — housed and fed for a week in Kampala — costs about the price of a used car.
This page exists because the budget deserves to be public. It is reproduced below exactly as the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association submitted it, line by line, with nothing removed.

Sponsorship
Every tier is a sponsorship of the federation. HELIOS delivers the media side — the livestream, the broadcast graphics, the episodic coverage — under the international rights it already holds, and takes no share of the sponsorship itself.
Everything listed below is produced and delivered by HELIOS through its own broadcast and content. In-venue signage, on-field placements and presentation-day staging sit with the federation and the host venue, and are deliberately not part of these packages.

How the money works
Four things we commit to in writing
- The money goes to the federation, not to HELIOS. Payments are made to the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association's own account. HELIOS does not receive, hold, or forward donor funds.
- HELIOS takes no cut. No percentage, no handling fee, no expenses. What HELIOS contributes is the coverage — the cameras, the edit, the audience, and the championship broadcast itself.
- This is not tax-deductible. UBASA is not a US registered charity. Nothing given here is a charitable deduction, and anyone telling you otherwise is wrong.
- Everything is accounted for publicly. When the fund closes we publish what was raised and what it paid for, with receipts, on this page and on the channel — including if we fall short.
Get involved
Fan contributions open once the federation's payment link is live — join the list and you'll be the first to know. Sponsorship conversations can start today.
Sponsorship enquiries reach HELIOS, which introduces you to the federation and handles the media inventory. The sponsorship agreement and the payment are between you and UBASA.
